The Sharon Congregational Church has for many years embraced the UCC slogan:  “No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.”  Our doors welcome you regardless of gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression, mental and physical ability, age, race, nationality, economic and social status, faith background, marital standing or family structure.

It is because we, the members of this church, believe all people are created in the image of God and are therefore blessed and loved equally by God that we hereby declare ourselves an open and affirming Christian community, founded on God’s blessings and love.  We pledge to welcome, love and respect all who would join with us in our witness to the spirit of Christ in our midst.
